Ackland went on to lose 8-7 against Randine Baker (Winnipeg, MB). Ackland responded with a 7-5 win over Shae Bevan (Winnipeg, MB). Ackland won 7-5 against Christine MacKay (Winnipeg, MB). Ackland went on to lose 4-3 against Burtnyk in their final qualifying round match.
