Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-4 over Derek Oryniak (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Canola Junior Mens, held January 5 - 10, 2016 at the Rivers Curling Club in Rivers, Canada.
 
Dunstone finished 7-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Dustin Pratcshler (La Salle, MB) 14-3, then won 10-3 against Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) and 19-2 against Matthew Stewart (Thompson, MB). Dunstone won 7-2 against Carter Watkins (Swan River, MB), then won 6-4 against Shayne MacGranachan (Brandon, MB) and 4-1 against Oryniak. Dunstone won 6-2 against Devon Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
