In their opening game, Fesser defeated Megan Lamontagne (Lumsden, SK) 7-6, then won 7-2 against Eva Grabarczyk (Regina, SK) and 7-6 against Ashley Thevenot (Saskatoon, SK). Fesser won 9-4 against Chaelynn Kitz (Saskatoon, SK), then won 5-4 against Rae Ann Williamson (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
