In their opening game, Hersikorn defeated Garrett Springer (Regina, SK) 7-2, then won 9-2 against Sam Wills (Lumsden, SK) and 7-2 against Wayne Leippi (Kronau, SK). Hersikorn won 7-6 against Judd Dlouhy (Assiniboia, SK), then won 6-4 against Carson Ackerman (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
