Mary Fay (Chester, CAN) won 7-4 over Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA) in the Final of the World Junior Curling Championships, held March 5 - 13, 2016 in Taarnby, Denmark.
 
Fay finished 9-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fay defeated Elena Stern (Luzern, SUI) 7-2, then won 10-3 against Therese Westman (Stockholm, SWE) and 10-4 against Evgeniy Demkina (Moscow, RUS). Fay won 10-3 against Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR), then won 9-3 against Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN) and 5-3 against Christensen. Fay won 9-4 against Korea's Min Ji Kim, then won 7-6 against Ayano Tsuchiya (Karuizawa, JPN) and 6-2 against Sophie Jackson (Sitrling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the World Junior Curling Championships Championship title, Fay earned 23.342 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Fay did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fay ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
