Stern went on to lose 7-3 against Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA). Stern responded with a 11-4 win over Sophie Jackson (Sitrling, SCO). Stern went on to lose 7-5 against Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Stern earned 2.001 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Stern did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
