Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, Yildiz finished 3-6 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yildiz defeated Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN) 8-6, then went on to lose 10-4 against Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA). Yildiz responded with a 8-7 win over Ayano Tsuchiya (Karuizawa, JPN). Yildiz went on to lose 10-3 against Mary Fay (Chester, CAN). Yildiz lost 10-4 to Therese Westman (Stockholm, SWE). Yildiz lost 10-4 to Elena Stern (Luzern, SUI). Yildiz lost 7-6 to Sophie Jackson (Sitrling, SCO) where Yildiz responded with a 9-7 win over Evgeniy Demkina (Moscow, RUS). Yildiz went on to lose 9-6 against Korea's Min Ji Kim in their final qualifying round match.

Yildiz earned 1.501 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Yildiz did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Yildiz ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
