Dunstone lost 7-5 to Yannick Schwaller (Berne, SUI) where Dunstone responded with a 12-2 win over Korea's Ki Jeong Lee. Dunstone won 9-1 against Tobias Thune (Dumfries, DEN), then won 10-2 against Ugurcan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR) and 4-3 against Bendik Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR). Dunstone won 6-4 against Alexander Eremin (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
Dunstone earned 14.172 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the World Junior Curling Championships.
