Thune lost 9-3 to Bendik Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR) where Thune responded with a 11-3 win over Korea's Ki Jeong Lee. Thune went on to lose 8-2 against Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
