10-2 to Rasmus Wrana (Harnosand, SWE), droppimg another game, 6-4 to Yannick Schwaller (Berne, SUI). Thune lost 9-2 to Korey Dropkin (Blaine, USA). Thune lost 8-3 to Alexander Eremin (Moscow, RUS) where Thune responded with a 6-4 win over Ugurcan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR). Thune went on to lose 9-1 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, CAN). Thune lost 9-3 to Bendik Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR) where Thune responded with a 11-3 win over Korea's Ki Jeong Lee. Thune went on to lose 8-2 against Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Thune earned 1.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Thune did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Thune ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
