Alexander Eremin (Moscow, RUS) finished 3-6 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Eremin defeated Korea's Ki Jeong Lee 7-2, then went on to lose 8-7 against Ugurcan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR). Eremin responded with a 8-2 win over Bendik Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR). Eremin lost 10-2 to Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO). Eremin lost 7-2 to Rasmus Wrana (Harnosand, SWE). Eremin lost 6-4 to Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.

Eremin earned 1.501 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Eremin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Eremin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
