Auld went on to lose 9-2 against Selena Sturmay (Airdrie, AB). Auld responded with a 9-4 win over Laurie St-Georges (Laval, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Auld earned 1.832 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
