Asselin went on to lose 9-3 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Asselin lost 8-5 to Jake Hersikorn (Saskatoon, SK) where Asselin responded with a 10-9 win over Alex Robichaud (Moncton, NB). Asselin won 9-5 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Asselin went on to lose 5-4 against Tanner Horgan (Copper Cliff, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
