Alex Robichaud (Moncton, NB) finished 4-6 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Robichaud lost 7-3 to Tanner Horgan (Copper Cliff, NONT), then responded with a 11-5 win over Brayden Klassen (Whitehorse, YK). Robichaud won 7-4 against Matthew MacLean (O'Leary, PEI), then won 12-1 against Matthew Miller (Inuvik, NT). Robichaud went on to lose 8-2 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Robichaud responded with a 10-6 win over Jake Hersikorn (Saskatoon, SK). Robichaud went on to lose 7-3 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Robichaud lost 10-9 to Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC). Robichaud lost 6-4 to Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Robichaud lost 10-7 to Doug Kee (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Robichaud earned 1.649 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Robichaud did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Robichaud ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
