Warkentin won 11-0 against Aaron Souliere (Thessalon, NONT), then won 7-3 against Connor Mangoff (Thunder Bay, ON). Warkentin went on to lose 8-4 against Tanner Horgan (Copper Cliff, NONT). Warkentin responded with a 7-6 win over Ian Fudge (Thunder Bay, NONT). Warkentin went on to lose 6-4 against Josh Vanderburg (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
