Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau, QC) won 6-4 over Pierre-Luc Morissette (Saguenay, QC) in the Final of the Quebec WFG Tankard, held January 16 - 22, 2016 in Valleyfield, Quebec.
 
Menard finished 7-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Menard defeated John Stewart (Valleyfield, QC) 10-1, then won 8-5 against Denis Laflamme (Sept-Iles, QC) and 11-6 against Jeffery Stewart (Montreal, QC). Menard won 9-2 against Morissette. Menard went on to lose 7-6 against William Dion (Montreal, MTL). Menard responded with a 7-1 win over Mathieu Beaufort (Tracy, QC). Menard won 8-3 against Steven Munroe (Quebec, QC), then won 5-3 against Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC). Menard went on to lose 7-5 against Jean-Sebastien Roy (Thurso, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Quebec WFG Tankard Championship title, Menard earned 15.975 world rankings points, remaining in 19th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 254.300 total points. Menard ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 126.860 points earned so far this season.
