Fenson went on to lose 3-2 against Craig Brown (Blaine, USA). Fenson responded with a 8-7 win over Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY). Fenson won 8-7 against Heath McCormick (New York, NY) in their final qualifying round match.

Fenson earned 6.187 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. Fenson move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 5.299 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 64th overall with 84.596 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Fenson ranks 80th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 47.295 points earned so far this season.
