Dropkin won 8-5 against Alex Leichter (Boston, MA), then won 9-4 against Hunter Clawson (Baltimore, MD) in their final qualifying round match.

Dropkin earned 18.562 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the USA Men's National Curling Championship, moving up 23 spots the World Ranking Standings into 77th place overall with 65.644 total points.
