Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) is set to play Koe in the Final Koe advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the NWT Men's Championship, held January 27 - 31, 2016 in Hay River, Northwest Territories. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 8-3 over Greg Skauge (Yellowknife, NT) in the semifinals of the 2016 NWT Men's Championship in Hay River, Northwest Territories;

Koe finished 6-0 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Darcy Delorey (Hay River, NT) 10-2, then won 9-3 against Paul Delorey (Hay River, NT) and 9-3 against Stephen Moss (Yellowknife, NT). Koe won 9-3 against Glen Hudy (Yellowknife, NT), then won 5-4 against Skauge and 8-4 against Bruce McArthur (Fort Smith, NT) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the NWT Men's Championship Championship title, Koe earned 3.675 world rankings points, moving up 38 spots the World Ranking Standings into 206th place overall with 14.007 total points. Koe ranks 246th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.207 points earned so far this season.
