Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) is set to play Koe in the Final Koe advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the NWT Men's Championship, held January 27 - 31, 2016 in Hay River, Northwest Territories. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 8-3 over Greg Skauge (Yellowknife, NT) in the semifinals of the 2016 NWT Men's Championship in Hay River, Northwest Territories;

Koe won 9-3 against Glen Hudy (Yellowknife, NT), then won 5-4 against Skauge and 8-4 against Bruce McArthur (Fort Smith, NT) in their final qualifying round match.
