Greg Skauge (Yellowknife, NT) run at the 2016 NWT Men's Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-3 loss to Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT). of the 2016 NWT Men's Championship in Hay River, Northwest Territories;
 
Skauge finished 5-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skauge defeated Stephen Moss (Yellowknife, NT) 6-5, then won 8-4 against Darcy Delorey (Hay River, NT) and 10-5 against Paul Delorey (Hay River, NT). Skauge won 8-2 against Bruce McArthur (Fort Smith, NT). Skauge went on to lose 5-4 against Koe. Skauge responded with a 9-2 win over Glen Hudy (Yellowknife, NT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the NWT Men's Championship, Skauge take home 2.888 world rankings points, moving up 46 spots the World Ranking Standings into 305th place overall with 6.188 total points. Skauge ranks 319th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.888 points earned so far this season.
