Whyte went on to lose 7-3 against Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Whyte earned 6.662 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Curling Junior Championships. For week of the event schedule, Whyte did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
