Katie Murray (Stirling, SCO) finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Murray lost 8-5 to Lauren Gray (Stirling, SCO), droppimg another game, 12-7 to Sophie Jackson (Dumfries, SCO) where Murray responded with a 6-4 win over Lesley Young (Forfar, SCO). Murray went on to lose 6-5 against Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO). Murray responded with a 9-6 win over Karina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO). Murray won 6-5 against Gina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO). Murray went on to lose 9-1 against Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Murray earned 2.608 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Murray did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Murray ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
