Aitken won 10-0 against Lesley Young (Forfar, SCO). Aitken went on to lose 8-7 against Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO). Aitken lost 6-5 to Katie Murray (Stirling, SCO). Aitken lost 12-4 to Karina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Aitken earned 1.739 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Aitken did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Aitken ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
