Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2016 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Allison Flaxey (Caledon, ON).
 
Rocque finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rocque defeated Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, Hokkaido, JPN) 8-2, then went on to lose 7-4 against Tracy Fleury (Sudbury, NONT). Rocque lost 7-1 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) where Rocque responded with a 11-5 win over Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Rocque earned 34.334 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 8th place overall with 415.176 total points. Rocque ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 128.046 points earned so far this season.
