Brewster finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brewster defeated Stephen Schneider (Vancouver/Vernon, BC) 7-2, then won 5-4 against Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON). Brewster went on to lose 9-4 against Joanisse. Brewster responded with a 8-3 win over William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Brewster earned 20.268 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2, remaining in 17th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 289.250 total points. Brewster ranks 20th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 102.365 points earned so far this season.
