Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON) qualified for the 2016 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON).

Bice finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bice lost 8-3 to Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC), droppimg another game, 5-4 to Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) where Bice responded with a 8-5 win over William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB). Bice won 8-7 against Stephen Schneider (Vancouver/Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Bice earned 20.268 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 24th place overall with 191.916 total points. Bice ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 74.543 points earned so far this season.
