In their opening game, Roth defeated Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) 8-3, then won 5-3 against Harrison and 10-2 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops - New Westminster - Nanaimo, BC). Roth won 7-3 against Marla Mallett (Walnut Grove, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
