Edin won 5-1 against Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON), then won 6-4 against Mark Nichols (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the WFG Masters Championship title, Edin earned 83.098 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 4th place overall with 579.693 total points. Edin ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 343.367 points earned so far this season.
