Jacobs finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated John Morris (Vernon, BC) 7-2, then won 8-6 against Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO). Jacobs went on to lose 6-5 against Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI). Jacobs responded with a 5-1 win over Braeden Moskowy (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Humpty's Champions Cup Championship title, Jacobs earned 77.876 world rankings points along with the $40,000CDN first prize cheque. Jacobs move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 49.145 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 5th overall with 787.540 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
