Natsuizaka went on to lose 8-2 against Gaku Suzuki (Sapporo, JPN). Natsuizaka responded with a 8-1 win over Minoru Kusaka (Aomori, JPN). Natsuizaka won 8-2 against Japan's Ryo Wakabayashi. Natsuizaka went on to lose 10-5 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Natsuizaka lost 6-5 to Japan's Junpei Kanda in their final qualifying round match.
