In their opening game, Birchard lost 6-5 to Haylee Jameson (Regina, SK), droppimg another game, 9-4 to Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) where Birchard responded with a 7-6 win over Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB). Birchard went on to lose 10-7 against Janelle Vachon (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
