Casey finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Casey defeated John Morris (Vernon, BC) 7-1, then won 8-1 against Darryl Horsman (Tempe, AZ) and 6-5 against Brown. Casey won 9-3 against Pete Fenson (Bemidji, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic, Casey take home 32.883 world rankings points along with the $3,997CDN prize.
