Min Ji Kim (gyeongido, KOR) won 6-3 over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in the Final of the Hub International Crown of Curling, held October 14 - 17, 2016 at the Kamloops Curling Club in Kamloops, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Kim won 5-4 over Korea's Un-Chi Gim in the semifinals of the 2016 Hub International Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada; and won 5-4 over Lindsay Makichuk (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2016 Hub International Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Kim finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Marla Mallett (Walnut Grove, BC) 7-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Makichuk. Kim responded with a 10-4 win over Sarah Wark (Chilliwack, BC). Kim went on to lose 8-2 against Fujisawa. Kim responded with a 6-5 win over Mallett in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Hub International Crown of Curling Championship title, Kim earned 31.777 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 31 spots the World Ranking Standings into 65th place overall with 56.840 total points. Kim ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.273 points earned so far this season.
