Kizlyk lost 6-5 to Michael Moore (Cleveland, OH) where Kizlyk responded with a 10-6 win over David Pengilly (Bismarck, ND). Kizlyk won 7-6 against Jeff Wright (Chicago, IL), then won 6-5 against Jim Smoltz (Beaverton, OR) and 10-3 against John Shoesmith (Seattle, WA) in their final qualifying round match.
