Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Samantha Crook (Fredericton, NB) 6-3, then won 6-3 against Janelle Vachon (Brandon, MB). Brown went on to lose 9-4 against Jestyn Murphy (Guelph, ON). Brown responded with a 7-2 win over Chelsea Brandwood (Waterloo, ON). Brown won 10-3 against Kristin Clarke (Halifax, NS). Brown went on to lose 7-2 against Terri Weeks (St. Catharines, ON). Brown responded with a 10-4 win over Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the CIS University Championship, Brown take home 5.775 world rankings points, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 74th place overall with 61.294 total points. Brown ranks 95th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.634 points earned so far this season.
