Nillson won 8-7 against Adam Cocks (Halifax, NS). Nillson went on to lose 13-2 against Thomas Scoffin (Edmonton, AB). Nillson lost 8-2 to Eric Bradey (St. Catharines, ON). Nillson lost 8-5 to Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Nillson earned 0.450 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 162 spots the World Ranking Standings into 548th place overall with 0.450 total points. Nillson ranks 508th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.450 points earned so far this season.
