After advancing directly to the championship game, Matt Mann (Sault Ste Marie, ON) lost 8-4 to Bob Meijer (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the CCAA-ACSC Curling National Championship, held March 23 - 26, 2016 in London, Ontario.
 
Mann finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mann lost 9-6 to Kyle Habkirk (Peterborough, ON), then responded with a 7-6 win over Ryan Dahmer (Red Deer, AB). Mann won 8-7 against Logan James (Hamilton, ON). Mann went on to lose 7-6 against Brad Schroeder (Camrose, AB). Mann responded with a 8-6 win over Matthew Brown (Edmonton, AB). Mann won 8-3 against Kelly Schuh (London, ON), then won 5-3 against Meijer in their final qualifying round match.
