Ryan Hyde (Portage la Prairie, MB) qualified for the 2016 Brandon Berth Bonspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Butch Mouck (Minnedosa, MB). of the 2016 Brandon Berth Bonspiel in Brandon, Manitoba;

Hyde finished 4-2 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hyde defeated Roger Parker (Dauphin, MB) 7-0, then went on to lose 6-1 against Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB). Hyde responded with a 7-0 win over Kevin Brown (Brandon, MB). Hyde won 4-3 against Tyler Waterhouse (Carberry, MB). Hyde went on to lose 8-4 against Mouck. Hyde responded with a 6-3 win over Jerry Chudley (Neepawa, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
