Nyberg went on to lose 8-4 against Fredrik Julius (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Nyberg earned 1.641 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 77 spots the World Ranking Standings into 386th place overall with 2.641 total points. Nyberg ranks 369th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.641 points earned so far this season.
