Rizzo responded with a 10-0 win over Robin Manoll (Iqaluit, NU). Rizzo won 5-3 against Kim Dolan (Charlottetown, PEI), then won 4-1 against Cathy Cunningham (St. John's, NL) and 10-4 against Catherine Derick (Thurso, QC). Rizzo went on to lose 5-4 against Heidi Hanlon (Saint John, NB). Rizzo responded with a 7-3 win over Cathy King (Edmonton, AB). Rizzo won 9-3 against Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
