To advance to the championship game, Canada's Jocelyn Peterman won 10-7 over Canada's Emma Miskew in the semifinals of the 2016 Canadian Mixed Doubles Championship in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and won 9-5 over Canada's Rachel Homan in the quarterfinals. of the 2016 Canadian Mixed Doubles Championship in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;
