Lyburn finished 2-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lyburn defeated Jerry Chudley (Brandon, MB) 7-6, then went on to lose 7-3 against Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB). Lyburn responded with a 6-3 win over Alex Forrest (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Viterra Spring Berth Bonspiel Championship title, Lyburn earned 16.313 world rankings points, remaining in 26th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 11.685 after improving upon their best so far this season.
