Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2016 Edinburgh International playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN).
 
Bryce finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryce defeated Martin Uhd Gronbech (Hvidovre, DEN) 8-2, then went on to lose 7-6 against 's Karel Kubeska. Bryce lost 5-4 to Aku Kauste (Helsinki, FIN) where Bryce responded with a 8-6 win over Felix Attinger (Dubendorf, SUI). Bryce won 8-3 against Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Bryce earned 9.165 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Edinburgh International, moving up 35 spots the World Ranking Standings into 137th place overall with 26.504 total points. Bryce ranks 144th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.165 points earned so far this season.
