Eskilsson won 8-4 against Alexey Stukalskiy (Moscow, RUS), then won 6-0 against James Craik (Aberdeen, SCO) and 6-5 against Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO). Eskilsson won 7-3 against Aku Kauste (Helsinki, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.
