Thompson went on to lose 4-2 against Andrea Schoepp (Garmisch, GER). Thompson responded with a 5-3 win over Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.

Thompson earned 9.244 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the CCT EURONICS European Masters, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 34th place overall with 183.251 total points. Thompson ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 138.617 points earned so far this season.
