To advance to the championship game, Sigfridsson won 6-0 over EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2016 Womens Masters Basel in Basel, Switzerland; and won 12-5 over Andrea Schoepp (Garmisch, GER) in the quarterfinals. of the 2016 Womens Masters Basel in Basel, Switzerland;
