Paetz responded with a 7-3 win over Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, Hokkaido, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Paetz earned 24.290 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Womens Masters Basel, remaining in 14th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 260.343 total points. Paetz ranks 40th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 31.710 points earned so far this season.
