In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Marta Szeliga-Frynia (Lodz, POL) 4-2, then won 6-4 against Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO) and 5-3 against Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA). Middaugh won 6-2 against Gina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO). Middaugh went on to lose 6-3 against Ursi Hegner (Uzwil, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
