Kim won 6-2 against Ji Suk Kim (JeonBuk, KOR), then won 10-5 against Jiyeong Lee (Songhyeon, KOR) and 11-2 against Hyomin Woo (Bongmyeong, KOR). Kim went on to lose 6-4 against Suji Kim (Chooncheon, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Korean National Championship, Kim take home 7.673 world rankings points, moving up 31 spots the World Ranking Standings into 126th place overall with 21.845 total points. Kim ranks 112th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.845 points earned so far this season.
