Marc Pfister (Adelboden, SUI) qualified for the 2016 Dave Jones Mayflower Cash Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Stuart Thompson (Dartmouth, NS). of the 2016 Dave Jones Mayflower Cash Spiel in Halifax, Nova Scotia;

Pfister finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pfister defeated Jamie Danbrook (Halifax, NS) 5-2, then went on to lose 9-4 against Thompson. Pfister responded with a 6-4 win over Jason Roach (Saint John, NB). Pfister won 7-1 against Rene Comeau (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
