Homan finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Robyn MacPhee (Charlottetown, PEI) 6-4, then won 8-3 against Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO) and 8-6 against Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON). Homan won 8-0 against Erin Morrissey (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic Championship title, Homan earned 45.410 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 629.118 total points. Homan ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 45.410 points earned so far this season.
